That’s exactly how we felt about the new KasKasan Buddies app — a one-stop hub for credit card hacks, promos, and money tips. But why do you need to download this app ASAP?

ICYDK, KasKasan Buddies (KKB) started as a massive online community where Filipinos swapped tips on maximizing their credit cards. It’s basically a goldmine for Pinoy deal hunters and cardholders. Now, they’ve launched their own app that brings all the best hacks together in one place — think of it as your pocket-sized financial buddy.

You’ll find verified promos from dining and travel to cashback and shopping. According to the app description, KKB works directly with major banks, retailers, and restaurant groups in the country, so you know the info’s legit.

What Features Can You Expect from the KasKasan Buddies App?

The app has a ton of features — from Credit Card Deals and Travel Tipid Tips to FinTech Guides. If you loved the KasKasan Buddies community, the app is just like that but conveniently packaged for your phone. Here are the key features to expect:

PROMOS AND DEALS

Built from the Needs of the Community

Joram Bonus from the KasKasan Buddies Team tells 8List.ph that the idea for the app started in 2024 and moved into development in 2025, just in time for the Facebook community’s third anniversary.

“The KasKasan Buddies App is our way of putting a true KKBuddy in everyone’s pocket — free, secure, and built from the needs of our community,” shares Joram Bonus, a KasKasan Buddies team member, in an interview with 8List.ph.

Aside from being 100% free for everyone, what’s amazing about the app is that it was born out of a genuine desire to help Filipinos understand their finances and make smarter money decisions. Joram Bonus also shared that the project was spearheaded by Filipino content creator and credit card master Jax Reyes, one of KKB’s co-founders, together with the KasKasan Buddies Team.

Already Topping the Charts

In less than a week since launch, the KKB app has already snagged the #1 spot in Finance on the App Store.

One user gushed: “Helpful po siya lalo na sa akin na 12 ang credit card. User-friendly. Kudos KKB! Mamomonitor ko na ang mga bayarin.” Another praised its clean interface, saying it’s “almost a no-brainer app.”
