#BPIInTheNews: BPI Wraps Up Cybersecurity Awareness Month with Content Creators and Partners

As we wrap up our Cybersecurity Awareness Month celebration, BPI brought together content creators and partners who can help champion a safer digital landscape.

Together with the bank’s cybersecurity and fraud experts, BPI shared practical tips on how content creators can protect themselves and their communities from phishing, hacking, and other online scams — carrying the battlecry: “Maging listo. Huwag magpaloko.”

“With innovation and with ease comes the fraudsters. How scams happen to ‘steal’ money is through fraud. And that is now in the control of each individual. So, we want all of you here to help us make content that is different, that people will understand,” said BPI Chief Customer and Marketing Officer Cathy Santamaria.

Through this initiative, BPI aims to empower more voices to amplify cybersecurity reminders and help prevent scams — especially as the holiday season approaches, when cases of cybercrimes tend to rise.
