• SEC Holds "InvestEd Tayo sa Financial Literacy at Responsableng Pag-utang" During Investor Protection Week 2025

• As part of its lineup of activities for Investor Protection Week 2025, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) held the program InvestEd Tayo sa Financial Literacy at Responsableng Pag-utang at the SEC Headquarters in Makati City yesterday, November 13.
• The program featured FinLit Talks with SEC Chairperson Francis Lim alongside popular content creator Jax Reyes of KasKasan Buddies, who shared practical insights on personal finance, money management, and credit card hacks.
• A Regulatory Panel Engagement Discussion followed, where esteemed resource speakers shared their expertise on responsible borrowing and consumer protection. The panel included:
• Atty. Sheara Lupango-Tamayo, Director of the SEC Financing and Lending Companies Department
• Ms. Rochelle D. Tomas, Director of the BSP Consumer Protection and Market Conduct Office
• Police Major Sonny B. Galicia, Chief of the General Cybercrime Section–Cyber Response Unit, PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group
• Mr. Tony Isidro, President and CEO of FUSE Financing, Inc.
• Participants also enjoyed a variety of fun and educational games with exciting prizes, as well as a Financial Literacy Session by financial journalist and the “Financial Beshie ng Bayan,” Ms. Salve Ibañez (SalveSays)
