The 2025 PAG-IBIG Dividend Rates

  • At the PAG-IBIG Fund Chairman's Report 2025 held today at the PICC Reception Hall, Pasay City, Secretary Jose Ramon P. Ailing, DHSUD Secretary and PAG-IBIG Fund Board Chairperson, officially announced the dividend rates covering calendar year 2025:
  • 2024 and 2023 rates are from previously announced figures. Always verify current rates at pagibigfund.gov.ph.
  • Pag-IBIG Fund Board Chairperson Secretary Jose Ramon P. Ailing's statement:
  • “Pag-IBIG Fund has once again marked 2025 as one of its best-performing years, as we declared the highest amount of dividends in our 45-year history. This past year, we reaffirmed Pag-IBIG Fund's role as the country's leading institution for housing finance and savings. Our strong performance enabled us to deliver higher earnings on members' savings while keeping our housing loans affordable under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (Expanded 4PH) Program. We will keep Pag-IBIG Fund's growth sustainable, our programs affordable, and above all, ensure that members receive the benefits they have rightfully earned and truly deserve.”
  • — Secretary Jose Ramon P. Ailing, DHSUD Secretary and PAG-IBIG Fund Board Chairperson
  • Pag-IBIG Fund CEO, Ms. Marilene C. Acosta's statement:
  • “When Pag-IBIG performs well, our members benefit the most. This year's dividend rates of 6.62% for Regular Savings and 7.12% for MP2 Savings reflect our continuing commitment to safeguard members' contributions and ensure they earn strong returns year after year. Our members deserve nothing less than the highest level of public service and the most responsible management of their hard-earned savings.
  • We will begin crediting dividends on the Pag-IBIG Regular Savings and returns on MP2 Savings to members' accounts, and members can expect to see these reflected in the coming days. We encourage our members to create their Virtual Pag-IBIG accounts to conveniently view their updated balances.”
  • — Ms. Marilene C. Acosta, PAG-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer

PAG-IBIG in 2025: By the Numbers

  • The dividend rates are a direct result of how PAG-IBIG performed in 2025. Here's a quick look at the numbers:
  • Financial Performance
  • PAG-IBIG's net income for 2025: ₱65.28 billion
  • Total assets as of end of 2025: ₱1.23 trillion — a new all-time high
  • Total dividends declared: ₱64.34 billion — equivalent to 98.6% of net income, well above the 70% required by law
  • This is the highest dividend payout in PAG-IBIG's 45
  • Membership
  • Total active members surpassed 17.06 million
  • Total membership savings reached ₱160.41 billion — a record high, up 21% from 2024
  • MP2 savings alone hit ₱83.51 billion, up 31% from 2024
  • Voluntary savings (contributions beyond the required ₱200/month minimum) reached ₱93.60 billion — a sign that more members are choosing to save more than required
  • Housing & Loans
  • Housing loans released: ₱140.54 billion, financing 90,727 housing units
  • Combined housing and cash loan releases hit ₱199.88 billion — a record high, up 14% from 2024
  • Short-term (cash) loans released: ₱94.16 billion — a record high, up 34% from 2024
  • Total approved cash loan applications: 3,752,364 — also a record high
  • Performing loans ratio: 93.58%
  • Digital
  • The Virtual Pag-IBIG mobile app now has 13.81 million downloads
  • The growth in voluntary savings is particularly worth noting. It suggests that members aren't just parking the mandatory ₱200, they're actively choosing to save more. That collective behavior directly contributes to the fund's strong performance and, in turn, the dividend rates members receive.

What This Means for PAG-IBIG Members

  • For Regular Savings members: Your monthly PAG-IBIG contributions earned 6.62% for 2025. PAG-IBIG computes and credits this directly to your savings balance — nothing to do on your end. According to CEO Acosta, crediting has already begun and members can expect to see updated balances in the coming days. Log in to Virtual Pag-IBIG to check.
  • For MP2 members: Your voluntary savings earned 7.12% for 2025. MP2 is designed to earn more than Regular Savings, and that higher rate is intentional. If you opted for annual cash payout, watch for it in your registered disbursement account. If you chose to reinvest, it gets added to your MP2 balance and continues to grow.
  • For those who don't have MP2 yet: At 7.12%, MP2 is worth looking into, especially if you have savings you won't need for the next five years. It is backed by the government, the dividends are tax-free, and there's no market risk involved. Compare it against your current savings or time deposit options and see if it fits your financial goals.

How Much Did You Actually Earn?

  • No pressure to open an account either way. Here's a straightforward guide to help you decide.
  • MP2 may be a good fit if you:
  • Have savings you won't need for at least 5 years
  • Already have an emergency fund set aside
  • Want a government-backed, tax-free savings option with no investment risk
  • Are looking for better returns than a typical bank time deposit
  • Consider building your Regular Savings first if you:
  • May need to borrow from PAG-IBIG. Your Regular Savings balance supports your cash loan eligibility
  • Are still working toward a consistent saving routine
  • Haven't yet reached the contribution requirement for a PAG-IBIG housing loan
  • One important reminder: MP2 has a 5-year lock-in period. Only set aside money you're confident you won't need before it matures. It is a savings program after all, not a substitute for your emergency fund.

When Are Dividends Credited And How to Check

  • PAG-IBIG has confirmed that dividend crediting is already underway. Members can expect to see updated balances in the coming days.
  • For Regular Savings members: Your dividend is automatically added to your savings balance. No action required.
  • For MP2 members:
  • If you chose annual cash payout, it will be sent to your registered bank account or payment channel.
  • If you chose to reinvest, it gets added directly to your MP2 balance.
  • How to check your balance and dividends:
  • 1. Visit pagibigfund.gov.ph and log in to Virtual Pag-IBIG
  • 2. No account yet? Register using your PAG-IBIG MID number. It's free and straightforward
  • 3. For Regular Savings: go to the "Membership Savings" tab
  • 4. For MP2: go to the "MP2 Savings" tab to view your contributions and dividend history
  • 5. For questions or concerns, reach PAG-IBIG through the hotline or email listed on their official website

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is the MP2 dividend rate guaranteed every year?
  • No. The rate is declared annually based on PAG-IBIG's actual fund performance for that year. It can go up or down. Historically, MP2 has consistently offered a higher rate than Regular Savings, but this is not a guarantee for future years.
  • When will dividends be credited to my account?
  • PAG-IBIG has confirmed that crediting has already begun. Members can expect to see their updated balances in the coming days. Log in to Virtual Pag-IBIG at pagibigfund.gov.ph to check.
  • How do I track my contributions and dividends?
  • Log in to Virtual Pag-IBIG at pagibigfund.gov.ph. Your full contribution history, current savings balance, and dividend credits (for both Regular Savings and MP2) are available in your member dashboard.
  • Can I contribute to MP2 anytime?
  • Yes. MP2 contributions are voluntary and flexible. The minimum is ₱500 per transaction, payable through online banking, GCash, Maya, or over-the-counter at any accredited PAG-IBIG collection partner. There is no required monthly minimum.
  • What happens when my MP2 matures after 5 years?
  • You may withdraw your full savings and all accumulated dividends. You also have the option to renew your MP2 account for another 5-year term. PAG-IBIG will notify you as your maturity date approaches.
  • Are MP2 dividends taxable?
  • No. MP2 dividends are tax-exempt. This is one of the program's key advantages over many other savings products.
  • Do I need an active Regular Savings account to open MP2?
  • Yes. You must be an active PAG-IBIG member with ongoing Regular Savings contributions to open and maintain an MP2 account.
  • What if I missed some contributions — do I still earn dividends?
  • Yes, based on your actual balance. Gaps in contributions simply mean a lower balance, which results in lower dividend earnings. There is no separate penalty for contribution gaps, but saving consistently will always yield more over time.
  • What's the difference between a dividend rate and a bank interest rate?
  • A bank deposit interest rate is fixed and agreed upon before you deposit. PAG-IBIG's dividend rate is declared after the year ends, based on how the fund actually performed, similar to how a cooperative distributes earnings to its members. It is not fixed in advance.
  • I'm an OFW — can I still contribute to MP2?
  • Yes. OFWs may participate through the PAG-IBIG Overseas Filipinos Program and contribute via accredited overseas collection partners or online payment channels.
