• We at KasKasan Buddies are so proud of the success of our “Street Smart Masterclass: Money Masters 101” with Street Smart last Saturday (Dec 13, 2025) at The Loft, BGC!
• At KasKasan Buddies, we strongly believe in equipping the next generation with essential life skills. That’s why we were thrilled to partner with Street Smart to host the “Street Smart Masterclass: Money Masters 101.” The highly interactive program was successfully held last Saturday, December 13, 2025, at The Loft, BGC, focusing on delivering fun and engaging financial literacy lessons to kids aged 6 and up.
• Demystifying Finance for the Youngest Generation
• This foundational masterclass is specifically for children to demystify the world of finance. Through hands-on activities and clear explanations, we ensured each young participant learned fundamental concepts essential for their future financial well-being.
• Key Modules Covered in Money Masters 101:
• The Basics of Saving: We taught the importance of setting aside money and watching it grow.
• Different Budgeting Methods: We introduced simple, age-appropriate ways to manage and allocate funds.
• The Foundations of Banking: We gave them a look into how banks work, including the difference between savings accounts and checking accounts, and even a basic lesson on how to write a cheque.
• All About Credit and Debit Cards: We clearly explained the distinction between the two and how they are used responsibly.
• This initiative highlights the critical role of early financial education. By learning these fundamentals at such a young age, we are confident that our participants are better positioned to make sound financial decisions as they grow older.
