Government debt hits record ₱19.66 trillion in September
The Philippine government’s outstanding debt reached a record ₱19.66 trillion in September, up 12.63% from a year earlier and nearing its projected ₱19.77-trillion year-end target. Additional borrowings and peso depreciation contributed to the increase.
