MRT-3 fares remain 50% off until further notice, while commuters can use GCash QR, NFC-enabled Android phones, or GCash Visa to pay.

Here is what the discounted fares look like: 

🟢 MRT-3 minimum fare — ₱6 (was ₱13) 

🟢 MRT-3 end-to-end (North Ave to Taft) — ₱14 (was ₱28)

And here’s what many commuters do not know yet: you can pay via GCash and skip the ticketing booth entirely.

Three ways to pay with GCash at MRT-3:

📱 NFC-enabled Android phone — tap and go 

💳 GCash Visa Card — tap and go
