1. One-Month Payment Moratorium — Your Housing Loan Payment Is Paused.

Eligible housing loan borrowers whose mortgaged property, place of work, or business is located in a state-of-calamity area can apply for a one-month payment moratorium — no penalties, no added interest during the approved period. Your loan term is simply extended by one month.

How to apply: Walk into any Pag-IBIG Fund branch or log into Virtual Pag-IBIG at myvirtualpagibig.com. The application is free.

2. Housing Loan Insurance — Your Damaged Home May Already Be Covered.

If your home was damaged by the earthquake, check your Pag-IBIG Housing Loan — it comes with insurance coverage that can help pay for repairs.

How to file a claim: Go to any Pag-IBIG Fund branch or email contactus@pagibigfund.gov.ph with your claim details and supporting documents.

3. Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan — Emergency Cash at 5.95% Per Year.

Eligible members residing in calamity-declared areas can borrow up to 90% of their total Pag-IBIG Regular Savings at 5.95% per annum — among the lowest rates for any comparable emergency loan program in the country.

• Loan term: Up to 3 years

• Grace period: Automatic 3-month grace period before first payment

• No need to wait — apply immediately at any branch or Virtual Pag-IBIG

4. Pag-IBIG Home Improvement Loan — Up to ₱300,000 for Repairs.

For members whose homes need structural repairs or upgrades after the earthquake:

• Maximum loanable amount: ₱300,000

• Loan term: Up to 5 years

• Current promotional rate: 3% per annum for the first 10,000 borrowers

• Available at any Pag-IBIG branch
