A June 30 test found GCash Visa Card transactions carrying a 0.76% forex fee, although GCash has not officially confirmed the change.

We conducted a forex test on June 30, 2026 found that GCash Visa Card transactions in Nepalese Rupees, USD, and Taiwanese dollars were charged a 0.76% forex fee, higher than the previously tested 0.5% rate.
Please note that this has not been officially confirmed by GCash. While all conversions are based on standard Visa rates, final amounts can vary by currency, merchant, and processing bank.
