Businesses can now cut the cost of routine bank transfers as BPI BizLink removes PESONet fees for corporate clients, including companies that regularly pay recipients outside BPI.
The fee waiver took effect on August 1 and automatically applies to both new and existing corporate accounts using BizLink's Pay Non-BPI feature.
For companies handling frequent disbursements, eliminating the transfer charge can translate into savings on recurring operational expenses.
Businesses can also send payments to suppliers, service providers, employees, and other beneficiaries with accounts at other banks through PESONet.
The move is part of BPI's effort to reduce digital transaction costs. In July, the bank also announced the permanent removal of InstaPay and PESONet fees across its BPI app, online banking, VYBE, BanKo, and BizKo platforms.
BPI said the fee waiver is intended to help businesses redirect resources toward growth while keeping their day-to-day operations more efficient.
BizLink also gives companies different ways to schedule their payments. Pay Now handles immediate transfers, Pay On lets businesses schedule payments for a future date, while Pay Every can be used for recurring disbursements.
The fee waiver comes as the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas promotes reasonable, market-based pricing for electronic fund transfers under Circular No. 1238.
